30 is the new 20

TROUSERS / SUNGLASSES ASOS - TOP ZARA - BAG CHANEL

When I was in my early 20's, I imagined myself being married and having children before my 30's. Now that I'm 30, single as a pringle and childless I decided to change my mindset. So my goal is to be happy and content with my life. Which I very much am. Also don't overthink and live freely. And as an asian I have the privilege to postpone my wrinkles. Yes we have that sort of power. If it wasn't for my bitch face, I would look 16 xD. Somehow it's still funny how some people have certain expectations of you when you're turning 30. Especially the older generation. Thank god my parents are modern and cool. They don't pressure me to get married and just want me to be truly happy. I know my mom really wants a little grandchild to hold and to love. But she wants me to settle down with the right person. And let me tell you, that's like finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe it's just me, but I don't care. I'm proud to be critical and picky. To be stubborn and a bit bossy. Because when I find my man it's going to be the one. Mark my words!

  1. Nice post :) I totally agree, I'm 28 and lots of people still think I've just graduated from high school...;) And yeah, waiting for the right guy is sooo worth it (Just found mine), but you're gorgeous, they must be crawling at your feet;)

  3. Happiness is the most important thing, love the look too! I have to agree with the title too, when i was little I used to think that by 20 people had their life together but I'm getting towards it thinking it's not even really the beginning of all that stuff <3
